The work/live birdwatching research facility fosters an inside-outside condition throughout, dispersing an institutional program on the ground

floor complemented with a residential program on the second floor. The continuous central courtyard on the ground floor is subdivided into smaller atrium conditions on the second floor, with separate points of access for each cluster of buildings. A composition of many buildings under one roof,

natural light and a connection with the surrounding woods is achieved in order to facilitate observation of the ecosystem from both the working and living programs.
